Congratulations to Christiaan on his maiden European Tour victory at the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters
Christiaan Bezuidenhout is a EuroSelect Golf Ambassador in partnership with Galvin Green
The 25-year-old, who made an impressive start to the 2019 season and been a regular on the European Tour over the last three seasons, featured the EuroSelect logo on his Galvin Green clothing for the first time at the Doha Golf Club.
Christiaan started playing golf at the age of four as he grew up next to Delmas Golf Course in his native South Africa. Christiaan is sponsored by Galvin Green, Callaway, Voly Ltd and EuroSelect Golf and is a passionate ambassador for the Els for Autism charity for which Christiaan personally makes a charitable donation every time he records a birdie in competitive play.
Christiaan Bezuidenhout burst onto the golfing scene in 2016 when he finished as a runner-up at the BMW South Africa Open hosted by City of Ekurhuleni before earning a European Tour card after finishing inside the top 25 at Qualifying School Final Stage the following year.
Christiaan excelled as an amateur winning many high profile amateur events in South Africa before joining the paid ranks in 2015, the same year that he won the Order of Merit on the Ernie Els Big Easy Tour. Christiaan then won Rookie of the year on the Sunshine Tour just a year later.
Christiaan has now firmly cemented his place on the European Tour and has already got off to a great start in 2020, winning Challenge Tour event Dimension Data Pro-Am and a 2nd place finish at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
Bezuidenhout turned Pro in 2015 and burst onto the golfing scene with a 2nd place finish in his native BMW South African Open at the beginning of 2016. Since signing with Modest! Golf a year later, he’s worn clothing from leading technical golf apparel brand Galvin Green and he commented: “I am very proud to have been working with Galvin Green for over two years and I am excited to further enhance this relationship by representing the EuroSelect Group, a key retail partner to Galvin Green, on the European Tour this season.”
